Shipping Policy
At Brown’s Micro-Bakery, we are committed to getting your handmade sourdough goods and candles to you safely and promptly. All orders are shipped from our bakery in Monmouth, Illinois (ZIP 61462) using USPS Priority Mail or USPS Priority Mail Express, depending on your selection at checkout.
Order Processing and Shipping Methods
We typically process and ship orders within 2-5 business days of receiving payment. Orders placed on weekends or holidays will be processed the next business day. Please note that some baked goods are made to order, and slight delays may occur during high-demand periods. You’ll receive a confirmation email with tracking details once your order ships.
Shipping Methods and Delivery Times:

Responsibility After Shipment
Once your order leaves our bakery and is in the care of USPS, we are no longer responsible for delays, misdelivery, or loss. We cannot guarantee delivery times, as USPS controls the final leg of transit. However, we’re always happy to assist you with tracking or filing a claim if an issue arises.
Shipping Area, Damaged or Lost Packages and Local Pickup
We currently ship within the continental United States. If you are outside this area and would like to place an order, please contact us directly to see if we can accommodate your request.
If your package arrives damaged or appears lost, please contact us within 5 days of the delivery date. We will work with you and USPS to resolve the issue. Include photos if the package is damaged or tampered with upon arrival.
If you're local to Monmouth, IL, we offer a free local pickup option. You can select this at checkout and we’ll contact you to arrange a pickup time that works for you.
